Dinkey is a Hostage

These photos were left on our porch, do you recognize the background? Poor Dinkey, at least he's trying to smile and stay positive through this ordeal. Hang in there Dinkey! We'll find you!

Have you seen Dinkey?

Our beloved Dinkey was kidnapped from our home the evening of Saturday, October 18, 2008. Not only have we grown fond of Dinkey but Hannah has taken a liking to him also. He was adopted into our family last year when we went camping at Dinkey Creek with the Kiners, Pecks and Hawkins. He was hitch hiking outside of a Sonic restaurant so we decided to take him along with us. We found the following ransom note today and are hoping he will come home to us soon. We can't find a picture of Dinkey, but we had the detective do a sketch for us. Have you seen him?

Stay strong Dinkey!

Hannah is 11 Months

So here's what Hannah is up to these days:
Walking everywhere! She especially loves to walk outside and go to the park (see swing picture below). If we're home she will follow me all around the house.
She waves to anyone and everyone, any place we go, a total extrovert.
Her favorite snacks are Cheerios and Gerber fruit puffs, and she can tell the difference between them. If we give her both she will eat the puffs first and then the Cheerios.
She says "mama" and sometimes "uh-oh," which usually comes out only as "uh." When we say "uh-oh" she will put her hands on her cheeks.
We play "How big is Hannah?" and she raises her arms straight up and we say "so big!"
Hannah gives kisses, which is a big open mouth on your cheek. She initiates games of peek-a-boo when she's on the changing table with her bear blanket by pulling it over her face.
She is teething like mad and has 4 top teeth making their debut.

Cake #3

This is the third (and final, thankfully!) cake I decorated in my class. This one went to my office to share. I call the class my therapy, it was so nice to get away for 2 hours a week and do something for myself that I enjoy. I love that I am able to spend so much time at home with Hannah, but I desperately need my "mommy time." My next cake decorating venture will be Hannah's birthday cake.

Cake #2

Here is the second cake I made in my cake decorating class, not the greatest creation but I'm learning still. CCO is for Calvary Chapel Oxnard, I made Chris take the cake to work so we wouldn't eat the whole thing at home.
