Ok, I know it's extremely late for a "Happy New Year" post, but I'm
pregnant and that excuse seems to work for a lot. So here's how we
wrapped up 2011. I got to take Hannah to her first Nutcracker ballet. I
think it may have been more exciting for me than her, and it made me
miss dancing. Am I starting to live vicariously through my daughter?
Hannah and Ali waiting for the show to start. Ali was ready for the loud music
Hannah and I took a trip to the Bay Area to visit family and friends in early December. We got to spend some time with Hannah's cousin Kolton. He was born May 13 of 2011, exactly one year before my due date with baby #2.
Grandpa Bud treated us to a train ride at Tilden Park. Dad used to take me and my brother David on this train when we were little. It had probably been 20+ years since either of us had been on it. Fun little train ride with a great view of the bay.
Here's Hannah with Aunt Kristl after the train ride.
Hannah got to help Grandma Carol decorate the tree.
And when we got home she helped Daddy decorate our tree.
This one was just cute, I had to throw it in. Hannah was modeling her new dress.
The preschool had their annual Christmas program. Hannah is on the far left. It's awfully cute, but you usually can't understand what the kids are singing unless it's a familiar song.
My sweet grandpa came to watch Hannah's Christmas program. Love him.
Christmas was spent with lots of family. Chris' parents came down, as well as Aaron (his brother) and Desiree with their kids, Jenna, Kinley and Clayton. I guess I didn't take any pictures at Christmas, not sure what happened there. It was loud but very fun to have everyone here. And trying to put three little girls (ages 4, 3 and almost 2) to bed in one room does not work, just in case you ever want to try it.
Happy New Year and hope your year so far has been blessed!
